Class 7 is the second stage of secondary schooling. It has the same subjects as class 6th. Each subject is equally important and you must score well in class 7th as well. This is the learning stage for you.

As you prepare for your class 7 exams, covering all the subjects diligently is mandatory. Being clear about the basics will help you with your senior classes and also help you find your interests. Here is how you can score the maximum marks in class 7 –

  1. All the subjects are equally important.

The subjects in class 7 include English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social studies, and French or other languages. All these subjects hold equal value. Therefore, you must study all the subjects. Study each subject at least twice every, week to complete what has been covered in the class for the given week.

  1. Start from the very beginning.

Do not start preparing for the subject just before the examinations. As soon as the session begins, you shall begin your preparation as well. Try to complete and revise what is done in the class on the same day. This will prepare you for school and class the next day. Revising and self-studies along with your classwork will help you clear your doubts. At the end of the syllabus, you will have ample time to revise all the subjects.

  1. Make a daily or weekly schedule.

As you have to manage several subjects together, it is easier to have a daily or weekly schedule. This way, you will be well prepared for everything. You can analyze the amount of time that will be left with you for revision and extra practice as well. A schedule will help you keep things managed and in place.

  1. Give maths enough time every day.

Like maths, science can also be a bit technical. It consists of various theories and facts that you may need to understand and memorize. Hence, set aside another hour every day to study and learn science, apart from the time you give to your homework and tuition.

Along with your textbooks, you can also use NCERT books for different subjects. The material provided in the NCERT is relatively easier and simpler than the one given in other textbooks. Reward yourself for your small achievements like completing a section, scoring well in the weekly progress, completing an extra topic, or practising more questions. Doing so will make studying interesting. You will enjoy it and strive to do your best.

Along with studying, it is important to take breaks and pursue extracurricular activities or your other interests and hobbies. Do not exhaust yourself. Take breaks in between your study sessions. You can take a day off every 10 days to reset your mind and body. This will enhance your capability significantly and you will perform better.

Healthy and nutritious food will strengthen and energize you for studying better. Follow a good diet plan. Eat home-cooked food with less fat. Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. We often tend to miss these points but they can make a remarkable difference in your daily productivity.

You may be able to find out your weak areas through weekly or monthly progress checks. Go the extra mile to work on them. Give an extra hour for a topic you think you need more practice on. This will make a huge difference in how much you score.

Good sleep can make a notable difference in how you spend your day. Follow a study schedule to get enough sleep of about 7 – 8 hours daily.
